A private comment on Google+ made me thought of writing this. =P
I took this module in 2011 with Dr John DiMoia as the lecturer.
He is a very quirky fun guy to have as a lecturer and he showed us quite a few videos during the lectures to perk us up =D
Of course, everyone wants to know how the workload is like for this module.
I feel that there is not much readings compared to the other history modules (but it might still be overwhelming for people from other faculties Idk)
I enjoyed going for the lectures very much and some of the tutorials are spent outside of school where we toured biopolis and TCM in AH. Maybe that's why I don't remember much about his tutorials. Haha. Unlike Peter Borschberg's lessons where answering questions is a terror in itself. Okays I admit that was not a hardworking student.
The exam questions are quite cool in in my opinion. I remembered doing a question that was remotely like this, "Imagine yourself being transported to a hospital in the 1500s. How is it different from the modern hospital?" or something along that line.
Have fun taking the module!
