Review: Learning spanish with Wlingua Spanish

It has already been a dream of mine to learn Spanish but due to the astronomical cost involved in picking up Spanish at a language school ( I was looking at las lilas school ), I gave up. So, while I was randomly surfing the net, I came across this app, Wlingua Spanish , which has a 7 days free premium trial and it seems to have quite good reviews on google play. As such, I downloaded the app and started using it. What can I say, it's awesome! I don't know how the basic plan looks like since I am still on my premium trial, but the layout of the course is really pretty good. According to the app, it covers up to B1 of the Spanish course, which equates to around 3 years of study in a language school. That's more than good enough for beginners like us. Below is a screenshot of my progress in 4 days, and I have been spending around 4-5 hours each day on this app. It seems like I got to take a long time even before I can complete the A1 course. T.T This app has a rewar

Foods of Poland: My 5 favorite dishes (Zurek, Zapiekanka, Kompot, Lody, Cakes)

1. Zurek This is my favourite of all times! Slightly sour yet warming at the same time, it makes for a good appetizer before one actually starts on the main dish. Except that for me, it became my main dish because I drank too much of it. This is the red version of Zurek White version of Zurek You can see the meat and carrot inside. Once in a while, they would also have a hard boiled egg inside, like the one below. See! I really love my Zurek~ 2. Zapiekanka  The name sounds long and weird but basically it's a half baguette where various toppings are put on top of the bread! It is so cheap and awesome I can't help but drool while thinking back on the memories. Think a foot long subway sandwich cut into half and the top of it being stuffed with mushrooms, cheese, meat chucks and other toppings with mayo or garlic sauce! This is a must-eat! See how big it is compared to my face! This is 7.5 zloty (~3sgd) A close up shot of the zapiekan

Our chosen pictures from Bluebay Wedding photoshoot

We are finally done with the editing of our wedding photoshoot pictures! Disclaimer: We were the ones who dragged it out so long, and Bluebay had sent us numerous reminders to ensure that we are doing our share of work. I really have to give a thumbs up to their service! Since we have already paid in full for our package, they could have just "forgot" to continue but they were more anxious than us! I must also admit, we really took our time. Our pictures are also atypical of the usual photoshoots so we kind of had a hard time trying to communicate with the photographer the style that we wanted. But it was all good in the end :) So, here goes! Me pointing a finger to PL's nose while he made his unhappy face Trying to act cool in this photo Eloping in happiness! My dark prince has come to fetch me to my new home~ Begging him to accept my love on my knees Trying to strangle him when he made me unhappy But true love still prevails~ Or
