Revolving stars

Recently, my dept went for lunch at Absinthe restaurant and the setting is really perfect for a private setting. They even let you do pre-orders and table arangement :) P.S: My second time there~ Without further ado, I present you the photos! This is the table setting with the name cards~ First, we have the country bread. You must definitely ask them for second servings as they are always piping hot! Then the smoked salmon salad~~ They even put in avocado! Garoupa is the main for me. This is a boo boo because the portion is too small :( Other than that, it's perfectly fine. Luckily, we are able to have second and third servings of bread that made me omg full. Lastly, we have this dessert called the King's cake. Apparently it's made up of some bean-like filling and a pastry-like crust. Honestly, I did not care much for the filling but the crust is nice! For their service, I would say that it's above average. The one day Halloween event at Clementi CC was organised by Clementi CC Youth Executive Committee. Manpower was headed by New Town Secondary Basketball students. There were two haunted trails in the CC, each with a different theme. The red route is a haunted village trail, where the dead arises and follows you around. The blue route was not as scary, and you get to sit with a singing doll which will beckon for you to sing with her. Preparations for the event was done half a year ago, since the students had to prepare their props early (supposedly). We ended up getting most of the props a day before as we realised that the students only managed to get a bit of the props which were not enough to scare them. The setting up of the whole place was very hard, since there were still ongoing courses and we couldn't touch the room till they ended.
