timeline of relationship

When you think you're in love, you feel that you can do anything for love. Only he matters. When you get together, you think of the marriage and the future, and how happy you would be. ohhh, the classic happily ever after story. When you're in the honeymoon period, going out, spending time together and feeding each other food seems like the best activities in the world. When the honeymoon period of the relationship ended, faults started to show up, becoming more obvious by the day. But you think you can live with it. "Because love is strength", according to all the romance novels, dramas and movies. Then, everyone starts to take everything for granted. "I know she will understand." "I know he will understand." Both parties get into a routine of assuming things, because you think he/she is the one for you and nothing will ever get between. One day, one party exploded. "I was wrong about you! I thought that you were the one for me; so...

My modules for sem 1 AY2010/11

HY2253 - Christianity in World History HY3241 - Religion in the history of China and Japan LAM2201 - Malay 2 LSM1301 - General Biology NUR1113/GEM1901/SSM1206 - Active ageing in Singapore I'm quite happy to get HY2253 since it's Prof Lockhart teaching again. And apparently, there's a few pple whom I know taking this mod too, even though I don't know some of them very well. HY3241 is kinda scary about thinking about it, since I totally have no clue about China and Japan (yes, even though I have studied the language, I have not touched much on its history). And with Mark in it, I think it's a clue that it's not going to be easy... (I always score badly for the mods that I take with him. No idea why also) LAM is cool! From the class roster, it seems that there's only 12 pple taking it. Anyway, malay is something that I have always wanted to learn, so it won't be so bad, I guess. LSM1301 is going to kill me for sure. I have no experience with it at all, ...

Thoughts on Taiwan trip

This trip to taiwan is an eye-opener. It was not what I had pictured it to be, but not too bad either. I have learnt more stuff than I had planned to, both good and bad. I learnt that, never ever go on trips with just one other pple, esp when the person is not ur bf. There are some stuff where you have to experience it in order to learn, and I did. Many things had happened during the taiwan trip, both in Singapore and Taiwan, to me and to others. It was a mere ten days, but there were major changes. I thought that Tashrif was reliable, yet apparently he's not. Just like I thought that ah gong was, but he was not as mature as I thought him to be. First of all, I must admit that I have a stubborn streak, and I want to do things my way. So, when he wanted to go to some places that I do not want to, I refused to, but I suggested to him that he can go with someone else or alone. Since I will be a hindrance to him anyway. So there started the black face thing. I mean, from my pov, I will...

First day in Taipei

We touched down at 6plus (on time) via Jetstar airline. To be frank, I was quite surprised, since I have heard a lot about flight delays from Jetstar passengers. Before landing, we had to fill a form stating our purpose of visit and some essential information. (not a surprise there, since I have filled up the same form last year.) About Jetstar, I think that in some areas, it is actually better but the legroom and size of the seat is not one of them. And the non-provision of water. Don't they know that people will get thirsty? (Haha. Maybe they will charge for the water too) But I like the idea of no inflight entertainment, since it allows me to sleep fitfully on the plane, (and I always fall aslp once the plane takes flight.) The flight itself was smooth, just that the engine made so much noise that I thought I would turn deaf. Took the Guo Guang bus to Taipei Bus station (125NT) at around 8pm and we tried to search for the youth travel card information. Apparently we were t...

Maybe the thousandth time

Until now, I still think that English is a very impolite language. In Chinese and Japanese, there is a formal way of writing which shows respect to others, but yet, English is still a 'you' But I think the greatest difference is the word itself. The style of writing is very different. And for Chinese and Japanese, they can be called exquisite. Tomorrow, I'll be flying to Taipei, the first trip that I had in months. I kind of look forward to it. Sometimes, I just wish that people won't dump so much stuff on me. And I wish that they won't bother me too much too. But only sometimes. I hope the weather will be nice to us. And I will take kor kor's advice, to be careful =)
