As usual, Japan didn't disappoint. We loved every moment of it.
We stopped by Legoland in Nagoya during this trip (the first for all of us) and it is perfect for kids! This theme park is definitely catered for younger kids. If your kids are above 9-10 years old, they would probably be bored.
Location is slightly out of the way, and there are literally nothing besides Legoland (unless you count a furniture store as an attraction) and there are a lot of construction going on around the area.
Rides
Now that Hunter is slightly taller than 90cm, there are lots of rides which he could go on.
When you go in, one of the staff will measure the height of the kid and give a corresponding colour band to indicate their height. If you can't locate the staff, fret not. At each ride, the staff will take the height if the kid has no colour band.
We took a picture of the Sakura tree near the entrance and apparently, it's a seasonal display that will change!

Since the opening hours for Legoland was 10am - 4pm when we went, we made full use of the time by reaching at around 10am and only left when the park closed.
As we went on a weekday (Wednesday) on a non Japanese school holidays, there were not many visitors and we could take the rides repeatedly without a queue. Since there were no queue, we wandered around and took the rides randomly.
There are also lots of photo opportunities as seen below.
I also scoured the web to see if there were any bag checks but to no avail. Hence, I only managed to take in 2 onigiri that were tucked in my jacket. But, there were no bag checks on the day that we went. Luckily the food were not too expensive (around 30% more of what we would pay normally) and the ramen was not bad. We got a kids meal and a normal set for 980yen and 1300 yen respectively for lunch.
Just to note, if you are only going for Legoland without going for Sealife, re-entry is not permitted. Hence, all the restaurants that are outside of Legoland cannot be planned for lunch.
When we went out of the park at 4pm, most of the restaurants were closed. We went to a bakery shop nearby to grab a bite before heading back to Nagoya station.
All in all, it was a fun day and Hunter requested to go back there again to play.
For those interested, we booked the tickets through klook as it was cheaper. There was also no need to queue to exchange for tickets as they could be used at the entrance directly.
Do check their website for the latest updates too.
