Caught it in Malacca on the day of release.
I would say that the title is very misleading. I went in without knowing the plot of the movie, and enjoyed it tremendously.
The style of the movie is similar to Miyazaki Hayao, or so it appears to me.
The little girl, M.K, was in a forest looking for Ozzie when the forest fairy died and passed the life of the forest to her. It was up to her to protect this life before it blooms in the brightness of the moon, and give birth to a new forest fairy who will protect the forest from decay, aka their enemies. She realises what her role was when it came to the climax of the plot, and she seeks out her dad who will help to restore the balance. She ended up making friends with the leafmen.
This delicate line of balance of the good and bad, which Studio Glibli likes to emphasise.
I love the humor of it, as well as the colour schemes of the movie (I'm a sucker for colourful and beautiful animations) haha. Makes me wish that I am living together with nature yet again.
