Went to watch Hansel and Gretel with PL. For him, it's the first time, and for me, it's the second.
This time round, we took the front row seats, instead of the back seat that I got the previous time.
I enjoyed the show tremendously, despite watching it for the second time. The view up close is definitely better.
Audience wise: I felt that the preview had a better audience (they were more enthu)
Cast wise: I could feel the lack of enthusiasm for this current round. (they probably got a bit tired of singing the same songs over and over again, and their voices were losing their touch.) But PL felt that their voices were still good. The children were better this time round though. They had a change of kids; the little round boy was not present this time round.
AND I GOT TO EAT THE PANDAN CAKE THIS TIME ROUND! Totally did not regret taking the front seats. However, PL felt that he would have preferred a few seats down the row so that he can focus more on the big picture.
The songs were still great as usual, and they did update themselves with the latest news. I like!
One thing that PL hates about this show is the dance items. He commented that they are silly and kiddish, but due to it being a family entertainment genre, it definitely has to catch the little kids' attention, and one way to do that is to break the 4th wall and interact with the kids. Haha. We even saw some adults jumping up and down for the goodies that they threw out.
The show will end in Mid-Dec, so still got chance to go watch :)
