7 things that no one told me about relationships

1) Hormones make people change. It is one thing to say that one value virginity, but when the heat of that moment comes, everything just disappeared to the back of the mind. 2) Passing the trust test does not make trusting people any easier. There is this trend going around in camps to do the trust test. Basically, it involves you falling towards the ground and getting your camp mates to catch you. Believe me, that is not the true test. The true trust test is when you are in a relationship, and your bg/gf ask you if they can go out alone with a member of the opposite sex. (It doesn't help if they are damn popular with the members of the opposite sex) the ideal situation In real life 3) Porn is not the same as sex Porn are just overrated stuff. They all look damn perfect doing all those poses from karma sutra. Maybe they are closet gymnasts. And I bet they are super fit too, with all those thigh muscles working out everytime. 4) The want to spend more ...

uCozy from Osim! uCozy Review

We finally managed to got it settled! I called the Customer Service side to tell them off about their system. As it was PL's Christmas day present to me, I only managed to open it on Christmas Day, and was hugely disappointed when it didn't work. Then, we brought it down to Clementi Mall to ask for a replacement and they told me that I have to bring it to the Customer Service Centre which is at Ubi! Granted, they did say that they can send it over for us but I was very unhappy as it would mean that it is no longer brand new. And I did not use it at all before! Anyway, after I kao bei them, they allowed me to do the exchange at the Clementi outlet. And I am a happy snowman once again~ According to my dear PL, there are quite a few good reviews floating out there about uCozy, but I think it is so-so. (Sorry PL :( ) Of course, I am comparing it to a massage that I pay $30 a session for, which is quite unfair.  There are two modes for it, but I had to do a manual trial...

Good customer service from Sonic Gear

Last Saturday, we went down all the way to Kallang because PL wanted do an exchange with his faulty Sonic Gear Earphones. He is such a Sonic Gear fan, just because they are willing to exchange new earphones for him when it's spoilt. I must say they have very good service. Details below. Anyway, here's the address for its Customer Service Centre: 1 Kallang Sector, #04-03, Singapore 349276 So, we headed for this Customer Service Centre which probably also housed their warehouse as it looks just like a warehouse. Don't be afraid and just go in and ask for the staff there. I thought we were intruding at first, as there is no proper reception. One guy came out of the office and served us. Since PL's earphones are out of stock for the colour he wanted, the person asked if he wanted to upgrade his earphones, and get a new model. He showed us the Neo and Twirl, and even provided us with a pair to test it. PL's ipod was out of battery, so the staff got his ipod out ...

Santa Claus is coming to town~

My dear PL got me a uCozy for Christmas! (even though it did not work and we are going through the process of getting a replacement) I really really appreciate the thought, and he was so secretive about it. I didn't know that he got anything till his mum told me about the present this morning! =D Thanks dear~!! It makes me feel bad that I was throwing a tantrum at him on Christmas Eve night because he refused to share the 田鸡 meal with me at Bukit Timah. But we got over it rather quickly so quite heng. It is just so frustrating, knowing that we are both being pissed because we wanted the best for each other. Christmas was spent at both our houses, though the time divided wasn't really that equal. =P I am just so lucky to have him who is willing to tolerate my temper, especially when it comes to feeding time @@ And being the considerate boyfriend that he always he, he waited for me to fall asleep before going home. =D

Bintan trip at Bintan Spa villa resort (21-22 Dec 2013)

It was my first trip to Bintan, but since PL always said that Bintan is very lousy and expensive in his opinion, I went with totally no expectations. The Tanah Merah Ferry terminal is just so far away. We were stuck in the traffic for quite long as there was a huge jam on the road, and some people ended up walking/jogging as they were late for the ferry (I think). So please leave your house earlier so that you can have ample time for your journey. The walk to the ferry The ferry trip was terrible. PL looked so pale and white, and he was going to vomit >.< I was feeling a little queasy myself when I saw the waves. I thought the ferry might just sink. @@ So, I think those who are prone to motion sickness should really get some medicine before taking the ferry. After we reached the ferry terminal, we took the resort bus that goes so fast that it felt like a rollercoaster ride. I think it warrants as one as I nearly flew out of my seat a couple of times. It was ...

Review: Othermoon by Nina Berry

Othermoon is the second book of the Otherkin series by Nina Berry. Btw, I borrowed this book from Clementi Library :) Synopsis: Everyone has secrets. When Dez rescued a boy, Caleb, from a cage, she discovered secrets she never knew she possessed, Now she's sure she's found the place where she belongs. With the otherkin - and with Caleb. But as the barriers between the mortal world and Othersphere fall, a wall rises between Dez and Caleb, leaving her fiercest enemy her only friend ...and maybe something more. Now Dez must make a devastating choice: keep the love of her life, or save the otherkin from annihilation... This book really focuses more on Dez herself and the other characters are quite flat. I think a spinoff is in order if this keeps up. They are still fighting against Ximon and this time round, Lazar (Ximon's son) wanted to join their gang to pitch against his dad. It also delves into a little background of Lazar, which makes Dez (and the readers) sympath...

Review: Otherkin by Nina Berry

Otherkin is the first book in the series of the same name, and even though I usually do not touch paranormal YA, I thought I would give it a try since I like the book cover. Yes, I know, I'm a visual creature. The book cover reminds me of The Life of Pi Synopsis: Sixteen-year-old Desdemona Gray doesn’t even bother with crushes on cute boys now that she’s forced to wear a hard plastic back brace all day.  What guy would want to literally have to knock on a girl to be let in?  So she squashes down every impossible desire until an uber-awkward brush with a boy brings out all her frustration and she changes…into a tiger.  In that bewildering moment, she is captured by Ximon, the leader of a fanatical group hell-bent on wiping out the five remaining tribes of shape-shifters, known as the otherkin. With help from a handsome, mysterious fellow captive named Caleb, she escapes and goes on the run, finding allies and learning the truth behind the legends of wizards...

Thoughts on A double Life

http://www.divaasia.com/article/26820 "I chanced upon my hubby and his other family while on holiday" by Azlinda Said It started out like any other holiday. My husband Fred* and I had been to this hotel many times before. In fact, it had become a ritual for us to visit every year, staying about five days each time - Fred had found the place and I liked the delicious food and wonderful spa treatments they offered. Some years, we went alone, and other years, our two young children would come along. Fred had many friends and business associates there, and he would occasionally leave me to my own devices while he went to meet them, coming back in time for dinner. The other woman On this holiday, Fred, as usual, told me he was going to meet his buddies. Innocently, I asked to tag along - in all the 10 years we had been holidaying there, I'd never met his friends. Fred refused, saying I'd be bored with their mundane chatter. He asked me to enjoy the hotel faci...

Review: Echo by Alicia Wright Brewster

Synopsis: The countdown clock reads ten days until the end of the world. The citizens are organized. Everyone’s been notified and assigned a duty. The problem is . . . no one knows for sure how it will end. Energy-hungry Mages are the most likely culprit. They travel toward a single location from every corner of the continent. Fueled by the two suns, each Mage holds the power of an element: air, earth, fire, metal, water, or ether. They harness their powers to draw energy from the most readily available resource: humans. Ashara has been assigned to the Ethereal task force, made up of human ether manipulators and directed by Loken, a young man with whom she has a complicated past. Loken and Ashara bond over a common goal: to stop the Mages from occupying their home and gaining more energy than they can contain. But soon, they begin to sus...

Wedding: The wedding rings by Chung Hwa Jade and Jewellery

We went to shop for our wedding rings at Chung Hwa Jade and Jewellery, at Chinatown. My proposal ring was from there too! We were there on a sunday where there were lots of people at the shop, and we had to wait for the crowd to clear before we were able to make our selection. Our budget is around 700 SGD. Since I didn't like the trendy rings that everyone is sporting now, we went ahead with the traditional gold rings. We ended up choosing both rings at SGD 500. There was a workmanship fee of $6 for each ring, but no GST included. All for $500 =D I love the design of the ring, very simple and chic =) The two rings that we got at Chung Hwa Nice right?!! As PL said that he is not going to wear the ring, I'm still wondering what to do with mine. >.<

Using Himalayas Protecting Neem and Tumeric Body Wash for Back Acne!

I have been suffering from another bout of back acne recently and came across this when I was out in Malaysia with PL's family. Since it was only RM14 per bottle, I just bought one to try. After 2 days of using this, I think my back acne has improved. Will definitely monitor the progress as I don't want to be known as the back acne bride during my ROM >.< For some odd reason, I have not seen this body wash in Singapore. Is it only sold in Malaysia?

Review: Sapporo Ramen Miharu

After for shopping for our wedding rings at Chinatown, PL brought me to eat Sapporo Ramen Miharu at Robertson Quay *beams* It's situated near M Hotel and Gallery Hotel. PL managed to park at Gallery Hotel and the staff there kindly guided us to the restaurant. The restaurant is quite a small one, and according to PL, the waiting time for the restaurant is super long during weekday lunch. Apparently he went there with his colleague for lunch there before. So, I asked him how was the food like, and he said there it was salty, but he can't remember what he ate. So, to be safe, I ordered their special blended miso ramen. Paiseh, it's a bowl of half eaten ramen. I was too hungry and forgot to take it before eating. The seaweed (which I had already eaten) tasted damn good.  The soup base was rich and oily, as expected, but it was not very salty! I think it is just nice for me, but I couldn't finish the entire bowl as the portion was too big. The noodles are v...

5 Places that I wanna go with my other half

1. Jeju Loveland -  http://www.jejuloveland.com/ Jeju Loveland is a sexual themepark in South Korea. Who else can I go with if not with him? A little peep into that world of sexual eroticism 2. Japan Love Hotels Oh man, this is a place where I really wanna visit. I did briefly went into one before, but it was awkward, especially when we were there just to explore around and the person caught us inside (there were 3 of us) Good use of technology - I would give it to them. How can we resist going in?!! (Look below!) 3. Thai Girl Show From ping pong balls popping out to vaginas becoming can openers, it is something that is very unusual to experience with the partner. 4. The Northern Lights No idea if we would have the cash but definitely it is one of the places which I want to go a lot! It is so pretty!! 5. Magi Quest  I know this is very unexpected but we are both gamers! What do you expect? For those who don't know what ...

South Korea Seoul and Busan trip (in Photos) Part 1

We took this bus 6015 from Incheon Airport to Namsan Guest House (which is very popular) Namsan Guest House 3 The bus ticket price is 10,000 won, and takes about 1.5hr to reach Myeong Dong. Our trip started with fried chicken! @@ The portion was too horrifying even though we got the cheapest one. (Look below) The cute mascots who were shivering in the cold. Pinching dunno-who in Lotte World  I blended into the background with my white coat!! *gasp* At the Bear Museum Seoul, Namsan Tower Cooking Nanta Bear Version!!
